U-ACT's training path from Peer Volunteer to LERO leader. This accredited programme equips people with lived experience to support others using coaching tools, ethical practice, and recovery models. It includes 40+ hours of training, peer coaching, supervision, and practical assessments. Trainees build skills in listening, powerful questioning, goal setting, and navigating recovery capital, wellness, and trauma. Our Recovery Coaches lead from lived wisdom—not from fixing—and help others move from harm to hope. Roles beyond LERO Certified Peer Recovery Specalists include Recovery Coach, Case Manager, Facilitator, and U-ACT Board Members. We Do: Wellness and Resilience Programme
The RRWP is an live online mental health, substance use and recovery resilience program, which has been developed using adult education, peer support and recovery coaching. The program is about learning practical tools and skills within a group container to support, deepen and anchor your personal recovery. The program contains four, powerful modules and is supported by a group process led by experienced, Master Recovery Coach Charlie Morrison.
